The Sabha instituted the “Shanmukha Ratna Award” in 2018 to acknowledge and recognise the contribution of members including the Managing Committee and Board of Trustees and others in furthering the cause of fine arts and Community Healthcare activities of the Sabha and/or in any other fields of engagement as would enhance the image of the Sabha and that of the member. The award is given every year on the Members Day and carries a gold plated medallion, a memento and a shawl.

Each year, one award is given for furthering Fine Arts, one for Community Healthcare and one for Members for their achievement in their fields of engagement. In exceptional cases, even employees can be considered for the award for outstanding merit and work beyond the call of duty. A member can receive the award only once in his lifetime.

This year, the award was conferred on the Members Day on 28th July 2024.
